  • Glass Lewis: A forward-looking Board for TECO- 2024 Annual General Meeting

14th May 2024

FutureTECO is pleased to announce that global proxy advisor Glass Lewis has recommended that shareholders vote FOR six of the eight candidates we have put forward for the TECO 2024 Annual General Meeting on 24th May 2024.

This is a strong endorsement of the skills and credibility of our candidates for Board positions, as we seek to re-position TECO, against entrenched company opposition, to become more innovative and future-facing, and shed its under-performing businesses.

FutureTECO was aware of the possibility that investors could raise queries about the capacity of some of our candidates to devote sufficient attention to the governance of TECO given the number of existing governance and executive commitments they already have.  Our campaign has therefore made sure to secure undertakings from all relevant candidates to reduce any over-capacity so they can make a full commitment to TECO if elected.

For this reason, FutureTECO has no hesitation in recommending investors to support all eight of our candidates at the AGM. Below is a list of our candidates.
