Initiator of the FutureTECO campaign and TECO veteran, Mr Huang proposes a more dynamic, innovative and prosperous TECO of the future

Yu-Ren (Eugene) Huang

Chairman of Creative Sensor Inc. (CSI) & Teco Image Systems (TIS)

Yu-Ren (Eugene) Huang is a TECO veteran. He has served as the Managing Director of the Boards at TECO and was the CEO of its IT & Optronics Product Sector. Previously, he was a Sales Manager at UMC in the U.S.

Eugene earned a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and studied at Keio University's College of Commerce, enriching his expertise in strategic management and technological innovation.

Yu-Ren (Eugene) has made a significant contribution to the TECO Group's technology mix. As the leader of CSI and TIS he consistently demands innovation from his teams to reflect the rapid pace of technological change. Recent developments include new 3D printing components and infrared thermal imaging modules.

Growing up, I watched TECO rise to #3 in the global electrification market, powering industries, modernizing homes, and growing into a vast conglomerate. But the world has shifted. In a future of automation leveraging data, AI, and robotics, the need for TECO motion will be everywhere- if we can integrate the physical and digital into intelligent solutions. From traditional industry to future mobility, healthcare to clean energy, where there is motion, that's where TECO must be. But to pursue that future TECO must become far more focused and innovative, with a transformed product mix, simplified and focused business structure, and an open innovation strategy. The global motion industry is undergoing a once-in-50-years revolution. TECO will either shift gears with it - or be left behind. The choice is ours.
